As correctly predicted by none other than yours truly in the year 2007, abysmal video games based on awful movies was a trend that I expected to continue in the year 2008. It did not take long to prove my prediction correct. When a film is somewhat appealing, then there could be a small glimmer of hope for a success (ala The Chronicles of Riddick:

I took this photo of a giant coconut crab at the Rota Zoo last month. That guy was nowhere as impressive as this guy, though. Those suckers get big, don't they?So why am I talking about giant coconut crabs? Well, because "giant coconut crabs" is one of the top google search terms today according to Google Trends.They are also mentioned in the AP story about the proposed 3 monuments.

Earlier this year, we featured a coffee printer, but we figured it was time to update that post with this gallery. OnLatte’s latte foam printer has the modern barista beat. Sure, there’s something to be said about old-fashioned handmade artisan foam designs--that they don’t hold a candle to the precision a machine can create!
